THE PHIL NEWMAN TESTIMONIAL
SUNDAY 4th MAY 2008
The inaugreal testimonial was played between Broxbourne Borough Vets, Wormley Vets and Grundy Park Vets. All three won a match each however Broxbourne won by scoring the most goals in the competition. The purpose was to raise money for a bench to be placed at the graveside of Phil Newman and for Cancer Research. They achieved over £1000 making it a very succesfull day all round.
